1 x "A Grade" Corvette servo assembly (both the inner and outer piston). 2 x UPGRADED one piece D-rings (superior to the split OEM rings). 1 x UPGRADED one piece D-ring for the fourth gear piston (superior to the split OEM ring).

2 x High temperature O-rings (one comes installed, one for the cap). PLUS these extra parts that you will need, which nobody else offers in their kits...

1 x New 3-4 Heavy Duty servo pin release spring, which is stronger than a new OEM spring. Your original spring will be fatigued and weak because of the normal driving / shifting cycles and high mileage. If you don't install a new one, your band can drag (not release like it's supposed to) on the 4-3 downshifts causing it to burn up prematurely. You should ALWAYS install a new spring with a servo upgrade, or during a complete trans rebuild. It's much cheaper and easier to change the spring now, than to burn your band, lose 2nd & 4th gear, damage the reverse drum, and having to pull / rebuild your transmission later!

1 x New E-clip for the servo pin. Your original E-clip will also be fatigued. Occasionally they get so weak, they can pop off the pin under normal driving conditions. When this happens, the servo pin release spring has nothing to push against and your 2-4 band won't disengage. The band will drag on the drum, and you'll have the same problems as using a weak spring.

They work together, so it's just smart to replace them together! Complete 3 page instructions written in L. Terms, and an assembly diagram are NOW included with this item.

This servo is easy to install if you have some basic mechanical skills and hand tools. Our Corvette high performance second gear servo piston has a larger surface area than a stock sized servo piston. The larger surface area allows more transmission fluid to push against it in 2nd gear. Extra fluid holds the band tighter against the drum for increased gear-holding power and reduced band slippage. It applies the 2-4 band faster, and holds the band tighter to the reverse drum.

This will reduce heat in your transmission and increase it's durability. This servo piston will give you. A firmer 1-2 upshift, as well as a better 2-3 upshift and 3-2 downshift. Anyone with a V8 engine application will benefit from this item. It's highly recommended for work trucks, tow rigs, RV's and 4x4 trucks; and is a must have for any performance application.

The 2-4 servo assembly is located behind the big round cover, on the right side of your transmission towards the front. It's right behind the dipstick filler tube. The cover and servo can be accessed from underneath your vehicle without removing the transmission and without dropping the pan. Since they never wear out, the servo pin and thick washer which you see in the photo's are NOT INCLUDED. They're added so you can see where the 2-4 spring and E-clip goes in relation to the pin.
