You can fit this kit into&#######xA0;any set of spotlights which take H1 globes. If your vehicle takes H1 globes for Hi beam this kit can transform your high beam, so much so you wont need spotlights. 150w is ok in headlights with glass lenses. Also&#######xA0;our 150w kits come with a wiring harness so your car's old wires can cope. HID is many times brighter than Halogen or LED and will for ever more be the supreme leader in achieving maximum brightness from your lights.

Some people think a bigger number must be brighter but in fact they become bluer and darker and ironically less light if anything. To avoid voltage problems associated with wiring, this kit&#######xA0;comes with&#######xA0;a high power loom and relays.

This&#######xA0;eliminates the problems we get with poor wiring and fitting and offers the ballasts the best chance to perform. &#######xA0;There is nothing else needed. Because of it's heavy duty power loom you dont need any extra relays or wiring. The JTX globes in this kit have ceramic bases so as to withstand heat and offer the very best insulating qualities.

The glass tube is narrow enough to fit lights without having to file the light out (a common fault with a lot of others). All JTX HID globes have precise location of the bright spot consistent with conventional Halogen globes so as to ensure perfect focus&#######xA0; something LED globes dont do very well. Watts are a good indication for brightness with HID. Our 70W HID kit (link below) is 2 x brighter than 35W and our 150W kit is&#######xA0;almost 5 x brighter. Bearing in mind our entry level 35W is as good as a new Mercedes. As you go up in Watts we are talking more heat and more power and so the 35W is the most reliable and least taxing on the car's original wiring. The heat generated by our JTX globes is about 15% more than the same watts in Halogen so 35W draws about half the power of factory halogen and is still cooler so no threat to plastic lights. As it happens our 55W JTX HID Kit pulls about the same power and generates the same heat as factory 65W Halogen globes yet so much brighter. Our JTX Ballasts were developed to not produce static in your car's radio and we cover that in your satisfaction guarantee. Also they are 100% waterproof and will run totally submerged in water. When it comes to mounting HID kits into spot lights some people ask if our JTX ballasts will fit inside certain spot lights. Many years ago we could do this but as we have developed our HID Kits to perform better, be more reliable and be brighter we have moved away from small. Nowadays we can not offer internally fitting ballasts unless we take a few leaps back and sacrifice performance, brightness and reliability. As such we need to settle for externally mounted ballasts. We do have 1m extensions available which enable you to mount the ballasts behind the grill or in next to battery etc. But shoot me a message if they are needed. H1 globes fit many applications but we know for certain they fit.. Hella Rallye 2000 4000 and Compacts. Narva Ultima 225 & Taurus Bull Light.

H1 is one of the most popular globes for single beam lights. In most cases your globes will have the type written on them. &#######xA0;In the off chance you get it wrong it is no trouble for us to swap it for the right globe. All glass globes require that you dont touch the glass with your fingers. The reason is that oil from your skin gets super hot on the glass when the lights are on and this can cause the glass to break. It's something our Dad's tell us when we are kids. It still applies these days too.

The H1 globe base is recognisable for being circular with the slice off the side&#######xA0;and also the locating dimple. Lights made for H1 globes require the bright spot to be precisely the right distance up from the base so that the light is in focus.

At JTX we treat this aspect seriously. An out of focus light is bright to look at but not look with. Is incandescent meaning power runs through a very fine wire which glows hot. It is surrounded by Halogen gas which not only contains no oxygen so&#######xA0;there can be no rusting&#######xA0;but Halogen shines brightly when heated. (High Intensity Discharge) trumps everything with exceptional brightness and very long range. The light output of HID is amazing. HID works by passing a constant spark or arc of electricity across a field of Xenon gas. To achieve such an arc the volts are increased by ballasts which transform 12v or 24v to 23,000 volts.

By it's very nature power at those volts wants to short out and so it is imporatnt to stick with quality brands such as JTX when using HID to maintain reliability. Why we dont sell LED Globes. &#######xA0;LED globes do not focus well in reflector style lights. The bright spot of an LED globe is over too large an area and so most of it is outside the focal point of the light. That means light is scattered all over the place and not enough light is where you are looking.
