We've changed many of these hoses in our shop and discovered that the available replacements for these hoses have not been improved, many of them leaking again very quickly after installation. Drawing on our contacts and experience with custom manufactured tubing and hose assemblies, we have produced a completely new set of replacement power steering hoses that addresses the problems with the OEM parts. We tested with different types of hose and found that Stainless Steel Braid over Teflon hose (like we use in most of our other assemblies) generated an unacceptable level of in-cab noise... Noise that is NOT a problem with the non-braided style of hydraulic hose we chose for our production assemblies.

We also tested with tubing sections that were permanently crimped as part of the hose assembly and ones where the hose could be disconnected.
